Series History

The commitment to racing began at Lime Rock Park, CT in the summer of 1991. The SCCA Trans Am Series was in town and Dodge had two Dodge Daytona racecars in the field.

It was from that point on that the New England Dodge Motorsports Series was created. Over the years and with the help of many partners and talented individuals the series has grown to probably the most diversified of its kind. The motor sports series has helped to transform New England Dodge from a casual observer to an industry leader and innovator both on and off the track.

Now evidenced by the return of the infamous HEMI power plant and SRT programs Dodge has made a statement once again. Dodge is back to the ground pounding performance and it shows in the intuitive design in the vehicles now built. With the HEMI MDS, Dodge now boasts the power of the muscle car era while being fuel efficient minded with an engine that drops from 8 to 4 cylinders, for those calm cruising days.

Over the years the New England Dodge dealers have been a part in many firsts. From that first event in Connecticut, to the legendary Little Red Wagon wheel Stander, screaming down the track. From the Neon Challenge and celebrity racing to the many Craftsman Truck and NASCAR Nextel Cup victories, New England Dodge has remained in the hot seat for over a decade now.
